VEHICLE HISTORY/ PROJECT STATUS: | pThis car was my grandmother's car and she bought it from a dealer in Fitchburg Massachusetts named A. J. Toner, Inc. She took delivery on October 19, 1951. Whenmy grandfatherdied it went to my sister and I, that was around 1973. After a few years I gave her my half as she lived pretty far away and there was no way we could really share it. She last registered it in 1974 and since then it has sat in an open shed on her farm. p pAs of 2/19 we have it running, and stopping! We have sent the gas tank out to get refinished, replaced the brake cylinders and some lines, rebuilt the starter. p3/4/11 The car is registered and I took it for a maiden voyage. The ride was a little rough due, I think, to the tires and front end seems a little loose! p4/29/11 Took the old girl form a few nice rides this weekend. With 4 new tires she rode a lot better but I would still like to see if I can tighten u the front end a little more. I vacummed her out for the first time in 35 plus years and filled two bags! Also gave her a good wash and started to clean u the crome. Any suggestions? I was using steel wool and that worked well but think I will switch over to brass wool so i don't have to worry about rust from the filings.

MODIFICATIONS: | 1/14/2016 The car is now stored in the lower level of a four car garage I built over the last two years in Sterling, Massachusetts. It runs great and now I need to start working on the . Maybe the crome first as that is rrally in need of some TLC. I was extremely lucky to find Parker's Packards in the town next to me. Parker Roaf has a great shop in Holden Mass and works on Packards from all over the county. Check it out: www.parkerspackards.com.
