VEHICLE HISTORY/
PROJECT STATUS:
When I got this car, it's rear wheels were locked u
tight with swollen brake shoes, and the engine was locked up. The entire braking system has been replaced, including a perfect rebuild of the Power Brake unit by Karp's in California. I released the bound u
engine, cleaned u
the distributor and carburetor, and now the engine runs fine with no smoke. Compression is perfect in all eight cylinders despite the long term storage and locked u
condition in which I received the car. With some upholstery repair, this car's interior will look like new. I intend to get the radio restored to working condition, as well as the clock, and then I'll have a like new interior. All other mechanicals work fine. With its new tires, this car is a pleasure to drive.
