Some folks find it interesting that a full, one-off custom would be built on the 160 chassis yet the explanation is quite direct. Formal broughams on short wheelbases were quite in vogue in that era, and as Packard didn't offer a naked chassis to custom coach builders and given that most of the body and interior would be removed and scrapped, why pay for a 180.

This is a 1928 Packard Six 5-26 Sedan.
- Chassis #: 157652 (03-19-1928)
- Vehicle #: 157217
- Engine #: U 157653 B

Delivered in May 1928 to Mr. Evaristo P?rez Peyro from Segovia (Spain), its license plate is SG-786. Used as a public car service from 1945 to 1969, the engine has more than 1.000.000 miles. Found in poor condition in Hoyos del Espino (Avila) in 1988 and restored to show car, the Packard is used frecuently by his owner, Manuel Gonzalez from Salamanca (Spain).

This nice photo was given to me by the fourth owner of the car: his son and a friend in 1964 (I was not born), when the car was used for public servicein Avila (Spain).
