Sorry Mr. PB, that's not JJN's daughter and son-in-law (photo 1) and daughter (photo 2). That's his wife in both photos (in the middle of photo 1. I don't know who the other people are in that photo.)

Below is JJN's daughter on her wedding day in 1954 (note the 1953 limo at the curb). At bottom is his daughter and her new husband getting ready to drive off in one of their wedding presents, a 1954 Studebaker Starliner.

Bob also had a 1954 Cavalier with a '55 V8. He drove it out to the Perrysburg Meet one time.

That's a different Battelle. Laura's father, Louis Gordon "L.G." Battelle, was born in 1866. He became the first Certified Public Accountant in the city of Dayton, and remained active in business until his death in 1957. Laura's mother, Annie, married L.G. in 1887 and raised two sons and two daughters. She died in 1940.

Nance's wife, Laura Battelle, was born five months before JJN was, in September 1899. She died in 1977.

Nance had a son, James B. (1927-1991), and a daughter, Marcia (born 1932).

When planning the Magnum Opus for the 1999 Packard Centennial in Warren, Ohio, Art James went looking for a Packard produced in 1945. He didn't find one, but did manage to put together a display of Packards from every other year of production from 1899 to 1958. Several weeks after the show ended, a PAC member contacted Art with information that his car was produced in late-1945. Too late!
