1. The 36 Super 8 engine went to the right home.
2. I have no 39 super 8 engines in stock right now. the last one I had sold for $15,000. I don't know if you understand fully what you are asking for - this is primarily a 1 year only engine. 3. Your next best option would be to put a 120 motor in the car. I can supply this motor...no problem. This would maintain the most originality and you could call it a 120 Deluxe... this would also save you thousands on the dashboard. 4. finally the most usable option may be to go with a late model drive train- any number of suggestions would be appropriate and affordable. You would also be able to have air conditioning and a drivable automatic. OK I see it on Facebook. Good car for the money. Buy with the intention of modern drivetrain. The other parts car is that....if you really want a 39 Super8 motor, there it is, ready for a deep dunk in the money bucket. 5. If you really want a 39 Super 8 motor, get ahold of Fran Zak.

....and my bookshelves are sagging with my PAC Cormorant magazines back into the 70's. I RARELY look at them. Have given away most of my duplicates at car events, just leaving them on folks front seats. Anybody looking for a collection?

The top three caps are 373597 for model 1951.
The lower single cap is 324103, a VERY misunderstood cap.

I've got a handful of the originals if you want, however, modern plastic "christmas trees" will give you a better fit.

The 37 appears to be a decent car at a decent price, no argument there. I hope whomever buys it enjoys it as is.

Not an easy job to de-ding and polish stainless. Might be easier to simply write a check for a perfect NOS set I have available. $400.

with a mirror, take a look a the back of the ignition switch...pot metal crimped together at 3-4 points. Fussy job to disassemble (carefully) and replace the wire. Epoxy back together. No one will ever see how much epoxy you used...
procedure has been documented here a couple times, searching may find it, but I'm not very good at that....
