I was curious why the motor was green. A 327 was already grey for several years by then.

1940 110 Touring Sedan. Just posted on FB Marketplace. Looks like a fairly nice older amateur resto that could be used as is with no or minimal work. Ohio. Asking $12K:

1951 200 Sedan. Someone cut the roof off to make it into a four-door parade car. Could be a good parts car. $1,800. Madison, WI:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/888096772634263/?referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A9892b90d-71a4-425a-9b6f-da65295ca8e4

1949 (22nd Series) Super Eight LWB Sedan. Pretty rough and seller is asking way too much at $8K. Minnesota:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/356881806930555/?referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A9892b90d-71a4-425a-9b6f-da65295ca8e4

1958 Packard Hawk. Rough and rusty parts car, but much appears to be useable, including the drive train with the supercharger unit intact, trim parts and the rare fiberglass hood. Maryland. Asking $1,200:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/269766112748818/?referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Afc1c68a3-6e86-4f51-95da-40c5e75f2de7

1957 Clipper Town Sedan. Rough parts car, but intact. Might be restorable but would take quite an effort. Illinois:

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/732705055440173/?referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Afc1c68a3-6e86-4f51-95da-40c5e75f2de7

Another 1957 Clipper Town Sedan parts car. This one is really rusty; looks like just about the whole rear end is gone. But appears to be all there. $1,700 in Johnston, PA:

1937 115C Business Coupe. Very nice older restoration. Has rare artillery wheels. Beautiful car. I think it is a screaming deal at the asking price of $25K. Wisconsin:

The 37 appears to be a decent car at a decent price, no argument there. I hope whomever buys it enjoys it as is.

Another 55 400 the guy says he will part out if not gone by Jan 1 😳

Or at least it will be stored outdoors. Blairsville PA (not far from me). Might be a good parts car for CarFreak if he still needs parts. Actually looks like a nice project except for the huge sideswipe on the passenger side which could neither realistically be ignored nor repaired. EDIT: could with a donor rear door or panel.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

That sideswipe could be repaired in one long afternoon with the aid of the Patrician rear door. Cut and paste. I know the folks that have the car and they and their restoration shop have a fine reputation.

As I shuffle through the stuff for sale on line it is rather plain that the supply of Packards vastly exceeds demand.

Ross you know the guys that are selling it? Thanks for the info on the necessary repair, it makes sense now that you say it. I avoid anything having to do bodywork, though I do want to learn to weld sometime.

I wonder on the condition of the engine.

For only $1800 you can buy: "Very Straight & Very little rust on body, needs floor pans. All the interior is there however racoons tore up seats." Not sure I can agree with these claims... and no powertrain either.

The ad on the 55 Deluxe says it is a manual transmission car. For $500 one could have all the parts for a transmission conversion. Cheap at twice the price.
