car storage

Here is a general question about auto storage. Has anyone here had experience with these storage bubbles for autos?
i would love to hear about your experience. I have been checking them out online and i wonder if that might be a good investment......I think they are called car bubbles. i googled the topic and got 2 website. sounds like it might
be good here in hawaii as they deal with moisture etc.
i am still not close to getting my shop built & thought it might be good to park the car in a bubble(inside a carport)to help protect the vehicle. The disadvantage is i always like to start the car up and look and poke around etc. and every time i want to do that i would have to disconnect...

thanks for yur advice.

I haven't been on this site for what seems like such a long while.
i bought my '52 in july of 2011. this is the most fun i have ever had. i have been busy since i bought my car getting ready to build a proper garage or shop. i've spent a lot of time just preparing to do this. yard and ground prep. moving fences etc. saving $. etc.
so in the middle of january i'm working getting ready for a concrete guy i know form work to come for an estimate and i fall and break my arm above my elbow and tear my shoulder joint up. wow.
so all work has stopped, i'm recovering & hoping i won't need surgery. now alll the medical bills are coming in.

Oh well life never goes as planned. another lesson in patience. My goal for a shop is very important to me because i live in such a moist climate.
i have to keep my focus!!! i keep my car running as best i can..... i have been advised by family and friends to sell it, but i don't want to yet.but if i have to it won't be the endof the world . and i can always find another when things settle down
this site is so great and invaluable to the hobbiest.

hi steve,
i did clean the aftermarket filter, or i should say i replaced it. but i also had to reset the breaker points and timing. and that helped. so, now i have a tank and line cleaning project coming up(which i knew i would have to do)/ so until that happens i will keep a close eye on the disposable fuel filter.

thanks for this info joeyearl. i am so glad to have it.

I now have the car back to running much better. thanks everyone.!!! i will play with it more today and tomorrow.
the main problem of the engine being rough at about 50mph.....
that was the cause of the timing and points being off. this i don't understand because not too long ago i put in all new points condensor. plugs wires etc, cap and rotor and had a "mechanic friend " check my work and all ok. then when i finally got enough sense to follow the evidence i recheck and the timing etc. whas off. maybe tomorrow i will go for a long drive and see what happens.
if the adjustments don't 'hold' i will let you all know.
now i have my tank to clean, float and sending unit to check. and my list can go on for ever lol.this is so much fun . i love it ... for me this is like play time.
but i need to keep this to a minimum as i need to build a shop or garage!!!!!! so i can't get carried away.
thanks guys
