I've been staring at these for over a year, and even with the same part number on both tags, I have been unable to figure them out. Appears to be 303949 - not in my 35-41 listing? Anybody recognize these? thanks in advance...

Longshot, but does anyone remember a white (w/red interior?) 138cd with modern drivetrain up on ebay within the last year? I vaguely recall in the NY/NJ metro area?

Per the parts book pg. 128, the waterpump fits 33-36 Super 8, and 35-36 Standard 8. My guess is there is one out there.

39Super8 - I'm a little confused on the correct graining for 39Super8's. If its like the 39 Su8 Convertible sedan on ebay right now, I can do it. If its like the "metallic marble fudge" I've seen on others, fo'gettabout it. That is one mystery I ain't gonna solve....

Let us know what you want to know - the 35's have a few unique quirks, but are otherwise affordable, fun cars...

Still need to know exactly which model you are working on. First 3 digits of the serial number would be a good start. Then maybe someone here can fix you up with a pump, or a pump casting.

....now why didn't I think of that? I've known Arthur forever...I guess I didn't think he did the packing style pumps. I will check and report back. Thx.

O-D: I recently obtained a 37 Su8 water pump. I have learned it more important to have parts rebuilt and ready than cores on the shelf, and have a proposal from a well know rebuilder in the Northwest to overhaul for $195 "with a real seal". My question is, is this a reasonable price?

???? what model are you working on?, the 120 pump is completely different from the senior pump, visually, however the technology is the same. the packing nut can only be replaced by disassembling the pump, but you know that...
