Soggy rear leaf springs

The rear springs on my '52 Mayfair have become soggy and I bottom out when carrying passengers over bumpy roads. Anyone have any good ideas on a fix?

flackmaster, I don't know why you'd think it would be unusual for a '41 Clipper to be equipped with factory a/c since it was priced BETWEEN the 120 and the 160.......

Another good parts supply house is Max Merritt. They're not quite as pricy as the boys in Boonton! Go to:http://www.maxmerrittauto.com/

Is it just me, or does the 50's RR Silver Cloud hold a striking resembalance to the original Clipper?

I'm pretty proud of the original "wood graining" on my '41 Clipper. Its in great shape notwithstanding some "left arm wear" on the drivers window. I'm not touching it...nice pitina I guess!

I think what you're saying is true. My '52 250 has four "bottle openers" and I was told that many times owners wanted the fourth added at the dealership so it looked more "senior" like the 300.
