At Harber hieghts saw this Electric paint Remover. Is this ideal tool for beginner like me?

And is the Gas Tank Sealer good product?

Just read BIgKevs test on Evapo-Rust. Although taking 15 hours soak, I. Am convinced it's great stuff and you can re-Use it.

Yes looks good. Ready for show car. Price seems alirtle steep I think? At over $5,000. First I must check engine. When Ross returns he can put spanner to engine for quick test of any movement . Maybe just rust.

Thanks for letting me know. At over 5 and a half thousand dollars, would it not be cheaper to rebuild engine? Plus my project car is Automatic,

I think Brian it needs more investigation.

My oh my, that car did look a wreck. Wonder
How it looks now?

It it possible to get chromed fastners for engine area? I think it nice to make engine area more interesting, as it normally the most ugly area of a car. I have noted all websites inclosed and will for sure stock up on some useful bits and bobs. I see they even sell new wires in the old fashioned cloth style, that's really interesting. And spark plug leads in cloth covered too. Adds to the antique look.

Ok John, when Ross gets back from Africa I can ask him. I did nit think it had powered seats, until I saw that link. Maybe he just added it. Perhaps more experienced people can tell me.

Brian, sure good web sites. Great location for getting all the fastners you require.
Eastwoods very good . Saw this regarding leather dye, and wondered if you knew anyone who had used it before? And if it turned out ok?

Yes tan looks good , and not so hard to keep clean. Would you sand blast
The frame holding the top? And just normal epoxy primer?
The bezels easily removed to get rechromed,
Is this the type of thing you would put in cabinet?

The Convertible top frame, is it normal to get this sandblasted?

And this product, anyone used it before? or maybe on smaller parts etc? Or the top frame for convertible top!

Heres pic of Cabinet. Mentioned earlier.
And anyone use thisXenon Timing Light or simular? how much difference does it actually make?

I only now know the 54 convertible had power steering, power seats, amazing for its age.

On the Nuts and Bolts theme, any other useful items i should consider getting? I am writing my shopping list.
