Big Kev,

It was great getting together with you and Tom (Packin31) while you were in Chicago this week. Congratulations on the article in Hemmings. I will be sure to look for it.

As I stated when we were together, I'd like to get information on the site in an upcoming issue of The Sidemount (Packards of Chicagoland newsletter). When you get a chance can you email me any graphics file or short blurb you would like to accompany the link.

Thanks again for all you do man.

Thanks for the heads up John. What a beautiful automobile with a great family history. I have dreamed of owning a 1937 Twelve for 30 years now. This car is at the very top of the list.

Interesting to note the front door handle placement. I would have thought it was a '36. But then you look at the bumpers and it says '37.

I just ordered Diamondback Radials for my '53 Caribbean. It is strictly a driver and will not be in any judged competition for quite sometime (if ever). The bias ply tires on the car currently have been on there since before I owned the car (11 yrs) and are cracking at the sidewalls. They also have flat spots.

My primary reason for ordering radials is that we have a ton of highways in the Chicago area (often under construction and resurfacing). To get to most club events I need to get on the highway. Since appearance wasn't my concern, I opted for the radials. They were less expensive than Cokers or Lucas Tires as well.

I agree also with West and Dave. I had my front end rebuilt 3 years ago and that made a world of difference (even on the old tires).

Guscha,

I was thinking more like this one:

That sure does have a lot of potential. $2,500 price is very attractive. Anyone going to step up to the plate?

The weather in Chicagoland has been pretty good lately. Sunny and in the 60's the last few days with an occasional excursion up to 80 degrees. I will on the road for work myself next Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday or Thursday could work. Let me know. It'd be great to meet the "man himself"

Dezi,

Thank you very much for the compliment. I am doing the best that I can with what resources I have at my disposal.

Maybe we can meet up someday and talk Packard's or what not.

Sounds good Tom. I'll shoot you a PM sometime soon to put it together.
