His tail pipe is 10'-7" plus the container, so nearly 11'. I think that it's the length which is killing him.

No container - just the pipe with a label on it - but it's the length. Try getting a quote an the rocker trim pieces and you may be surprised! Last year it was far, far cheaper than it is now.

As I recall, the search engine does not allow searches on fewer than three characters.

One little thing to keep in mind is that if you buy a 1955, the electrical system is positive ground. That probably means little in itself but some modern accessories may not work on it. 1956 was the first year of the negative ground that most cars still use today.

One year only so may prove difficult to find without paying more than you did for the rest of the car! My original 1939 Six that I bought in the mid-‘60s had it but I never drove it enough to now whether it worked or not. As I recall, it was a fairly simple or maybe even simplistic system compared to the later ones.

Did you check the seal by closing it on a strip of paper, then slowly pulling out the paper to see if there is resistance? Do that all the way around and you should find the problem area.

Tim, racism and racial profiling is totally inappropriate for this forum. Take it elsewhere.

Good to hear and thank you! The RadioRA2 system has similar devices but in my case, the switches are not something you access directly but rather are hidden, then accessed by a pad near the door or wherever else one is needed. Mine has 7-buttons (in this case but dimmer-types are available too) where individual lights or scenes can be set up to each button.

It turned out that I was back at the shop briefly three times the next day before heading to the airport to put inside some packages that arrived.

One was a spare wheel so now it has all five and the other contained the rear stabilizer rods, grommets and bushings along with NOS shocks however the bushings are incorrect. They are for the front of a passenger car, not the back of a Henney! When the Packard Parts Book says ALL, that does not apply to the commercial chassis unless it’s an engine part as it shares nothing else with them body-wise or, especially, chassis-wise!

On the arrival of the wheel, my ride to the airport was to pick me up at 3:00 PM but texted that she would be about ten minutes late and good thing as the wheel arrived a few minutes after I was originally to have left so good timing!

The third (actually first) trip out was for a lighting controller for the shop as it will use the Lutron RadioRA2 system to make wiring easier and not need to do so much of it. That that setup, I can later add a switch anywhere I want without having to add wiring for it.

Until you get caught. They are illegal in California when used on the road. Off-road, fine, but on the street you will eventually get a ticket!.
