hello fellow Packard people
I am trying to remove the head from my 1953 patrician with little luck. all the nuts are off, and 7 of the studs came out with the nuts. I tried cranking the engine with the plugs in, but not enough compression to pop the head. will it be ok to use a chisel to wedge between the block and head or will this cause great damage. don't want to cause more work. any thoughts are helpful and appreciated.. Charlie

Hello Gentlemen
How do I know if the oil filter on my 1953 Patrician is full flow, or not. If not is it possible to make it full flow? or is that impossible. Thanks for any info. Charlie

Hello trans experts
is it possible to use the oil pan from the 54th series gear start tranny on a 26th series tranny? that would save a lot of crawling under the car to check the fluid
Thanks
Charlie
