Bill's Cables can do it: (937) 726-2136,
So long as you are sure of dimensions. Can also modify existing cable.

That Northeast EF model is rarely serviceable unless you rebuild with one of the reproduction aluminum frames.
The only one worse is the Tesla designed Waltham built unit used by Packard just prior to the Northeast. It's speed indicator drum is made of a paper thin, fragile foil that is Intended to operate in the tiniest of tolerances. So, the slightest deformation, wear or any damage makes it Non functional. When customers ask me if I can repair one of these, I must have a long conversation about the challenges.

Gar, I don't recall where I bought the set I have, but I know they are not vintage. May have come from auto parts store or one of the common hardware chains.

Those are noise insulators (alemite ? or some other awesome sounding name). I replaced mine with rubber inserts from a local auto garage. Look up the service manual and salesman literature on this site.

Gar,
I have had to remove several of those broken off pieces from the 28th to 31 pot metal northeast units. The trick I use is to remove the inner cable, then use a counterclockwise extractor. Be careful to not bend the coupling. Pat

Well, I would rephrase word proper with the word acceptable. The length would depend on the differences between a proper for 39 Borg Warner R6 and the later R11. If the speedometer cable connection to the R11 is on same side as the original R6, then the original length (per Stewart Warner data) of 88.5in should work.
Hope this helps, Pat

Would that be for a North East speedometer?
