The ball does not go on top of the pointed brass valve, it goes under the accelerator plunger and is held in with a spring wire

Be very careful as the top cylinders are two way, fluid in bottom to extend and fluid in top to retract. You can't leave lines open.

The switch you picture is the overdrive kick down switch. I think it needs a good cleaning. Dell

If your city is large enough you might find a rubber supply company as I did and and ask if they would be kind enough to sell you a scrap the correct thighness, then all it takes is a hole saw and a speed bore.

The correct size tire for the station sedan is 700-15 which Coker has in a tube type. If your woodie is a driver and you plan to use a tubeless radials I would put some sealer on the rivets and you should not have a problem.

Gary; I have no gasket on my 48, run a large flat file over the contact surface to clean it and make sure there are no burs on the surface. It's best not to tighten the three bolts till the manifolds are somewhat tight. They make a gasket for your application if you have leaks.
