Anyone know of where I can find a photo of one of these boots?

Some of the blogs are quite long and contain 100s of excellent photos. How do I search for a specific subject or photo when the blog covers many pages.
I like to copy photos to my laptop for access when I am at my shop where I have no internet connection.
Really appreciate your CD project. Storing all that info on a laptop takes up a lot of space.

Thanks again,
Lowell

Thanks Fred and Oztatman for your quick response. Just as I suspected. If there is a 50/50 chance I can get them reversed, it's a 75% chance I will.
Was there a felt gasket or seal inside of the "grease container" (the sheet metal gutter that diverts leakage to the back of the backing plate)?
Oztatman, is there a way of searching your "Wades blog" to get to one of your excellent photos of a specific subject or activity?

Would someone post a photo of the front backing plate for a 120 (1939)?. I think I may be reversing mine as I reassemble.

Another benefit of lead in the old oil and gas was to lubricate the valve seats. If your car has been rebuilt lately they may have put in seat inserts that do not need the lead for protection.
Packards do not need the anti knock qualities of leaded gas due to their lower compression ratios . The octane of pump gas achieves it's octane now by adding 10% to 15% ethanol.

That is what we need to be concerned with now.

Tim, Are you saying one must cut the pan in half before a puller can be attached?

There IS one on the Pass. side but it comes off easily.

There is a reason your left pan is still on.

How does one remove the driver side pan between the engine and the frame?
The steering control arm goes through it and I can't get a puller on it because of the pan.
