Also not sure if the '37 Fuel Pumps have it or not. But the later fuel pumps also have a screen on the inlet side of the pump. This usually clogs first.

When did the '54 Production line stop and the change over to 55 production start?

Just curious since the casting date on my block was so late in the production run., and the car serial number is towards the end, plus the GearStart tranny.

So far I have not run across anyone else with a GearStart.

Once you get some data compiled, then I can roll it into a lookup table here on the website. I hope we can eventually do that with the Theft Proof data that Dave has collected also so people can enter a number and it will tell them the year and possible model family it belongs to.
