also the packard book motor and vechicle number book says 426-433 = U95007 to U125012. my no is 102052, or 102221???? very confusing...............

the motor # is the registration #102052. the vech # is the # on the fire wall plat #102221 what about the body # 283-2650????????????????/

I have a 1926 packard 4 door, 126 wb. the registration is #102052, the body plate is 102221, frame #10216, steering box #p6312, trans #102752, the back seat tag is 283-2650. I would like to know if I have a 426 or what??????

I am sure it came with silver plating, but you are right nickel will be better. Do you know what model it is? I think it is a 426, but then I dont know. what about the bumbers???thanks

I traded my neighbour out of a 1926 packard sedan, I am in the procs of restoring it. the nos are 283-2650; vech#102221; motor# 102052. should I chrome instead of silver plating???? I want to chrome the bumpers, and put on white walls. any opinoins about this???
