Don, I'm hesitant to make a recommendation but there are shops that do superb work on valuable and delicate but pitted of otherwise damaged white metal castings. This is often drilling and filling pits, copper plating to a bit oversized and then refinishing back to the original profiles. Obviously this takes very skilled folks, the plating itself is trivial in comparison. The top tier of restoration shops use these places, I'd ask one or more of them for a recommendation if that's the kind of work you need.
