Ive been unable to attach a picture, I give up.
I have a 1937 Packard Sport Coupe. The center hinge between the hood halves is painted. All the others I've seen are chrome. Does this mean I've got to drill out all those rivets to take it to the chrome shop?

You should have a very thin chromed metal strip that snaps down over the hood center. All 1937 120 and 115c all had them on originally. If you can't find an original, Max Merrit has repros(though not as nice as originals, miss the slight center crest).
