General Information: |
The One-Sixty and the One-Eighty were essentially the same cars except for some changes in trim and appointments. All One-Eighty models were custom cars available on special order. Independent coachbuilders accounted for 6 of the 11 body styles available, Packard providing the rest. Windows were larger in the One-Eighty, and were hydraulically-operated in the closed cars. In the closed cars too, wood replaced the wood-grained metal moldings of the year previous. All One-Eighty cars were provided chrome gravel shields when runningboards were not ordered. Wheelbases remained the same, though body styles available were revised. In the Model 1906 the club sedan was dropped, leaving only the Darrin Convertible Victoria in the Model 1907 the Darrin Convertible Sedan was replaced by a LeBaron Sport Brougham. The Model 1908 line was augmented with a new touring sedan and touring limousine by LeBaron. |
