The Six's engine was now bored out to 3-1/2 inches, which increased displacement to 245 cubic inches; although horsepower remained 100, low speed torque was improved. A heavier water pump, redesigned fan and increased radiator capacity were among the other engineering changes. The wheelbase was increased to 122 inches, and the all-steel bodies were all-new. Changes to the new body styling included a chrome strip that ran the length of the hood, up the windshield and into the roof of the car. |
