I found this pristine Aluminum head for a 359. It didn't take much to cherry it out. This will go on the 359.

Then when nine are gone I stick the cans in the main caps and feeler guage for clearence and site down the cans for straightness. It does work. MSR Cookeville TN.

This how I check line bore on a 9 main 359. This motor was built by a Packard Pro who screwed it up. I don't know much about Packard straight 8'S so I drink 9 Buds.

Here is engine puller I came up with for yanking out straight 8's. We work on many so we needed something reliable and heavy duty. I call it the EP-18.
