This 1937 Packard Twelve chassis was fitted with the coachwork from an older (believe about 1917) Pierce Arrow. Photo taken at the Petit Jean Mountain Museum in 1970 by the author.

This car is illustrated on page 198 in Hugo Pfau's book "Coachbuilt Packards". Chassis is a 1508 Twelve. This was the third car that had this body mounted: First, of course, was the mentioned 1917 Pierce-Arrow, followed by another Pierce-Arrow. First owner of all these cars was a Mrs. John D. Gordon of Norwalk, Connecticut.
