Photo caption on back from unidentified Packard source: Massive wrap-around grille and bumpers of 1957 Packard Clippers retain the traditional Packard Clipper front end trademarks, corner parking lights provide side as well as forward illumination, at the same time, the new Packard Clippers, to be displayed in dealer showrooms across the country beginning Thursday, January 24, achieve a new dimension in silent driving, in both the 4-door sedan and the 4-door station wagon, heavy duty silencing pads, and deep pile carpeting on cowl kick panels, dashboard liner and lower door trim panel sections are sound deadening innovations that emphasize the care with which extra comfort has been built into the new Packard Clippers, the cars are powered by a 275-horsepower V-8 engine with super charger, other exclusive features for the medium priced field include variable rate front springing, automatic transmission as standard equipment, and the twin traction power dividing differential as optional equipment.
