Inscribed on photo back; Packard twelve, seventeenth series, model 1708, 12-cylinder, 175-horsepower, 139-inch wheelbase, 5/6-person special parade touring car, by Rollston (White House Fleet), note wheel trim rings, fender wells & 6-wheels (sans side mount covers), special radiator cap emblem, flag pole mountings, radio aerial mounted on left cowl side panel, tonneau windshield wind wings, presidential seal on tonneau door panel, license plate frame, trunk rack, center bumper guard, step plates aft of rear fenders.

Inscribed on photo back; 1908 Packard '30' model U, 4-cylinder, 30-horsepower, 122-inch wheelbase, 'Hiram' test car, fitted with a 1906 model S, 5-person touring car body, built in winter 1906-07 'Hiram' was tested extensively by Packard engineering; under direction of head tester 'Bill' Birmingham, exhaustive road tests were then conducted, photographed near Packard works East Grand Blvd., Detroit, Mich.
