The photo was printed from the original negative which I was loaned by the owner (of the neg.) several years ago. The "U" designation on the NJ licesne plate was for Union County. Car was owned by some of the Bowman family who had a country residence near Branchburg, NJ. The house is still there although the surrounding area has been built up. The picture was taken on 6.july 1927 in Tallinn. Names of both people are also known: man is Johan Johanson, one of the first drivers in Estonia and his wife Emma. Sent by Jim Pearsall |

This scan was made by me from a print I had made from the original negative borrowed from the Branchburg, NJ Historial Society.The car belonged to members of the Bowman family, some of whom lived in a very elegant residence in Branchburg, NJ. The photo was published some years ago in one of those Arcadia photo books.
