If there are no external holes to release a clip, some lock cylinders have a screw in the end to hold them in the housing. On another issue where the hook had to come off Flackmaster mentions a leaf type catch that needs to be depressed for the hook to release. I wonder if it or maybe just the spring needs to come out on yours to access something in the slot that releases the cylinder. Later in that same thread another poster mentions that sometimes the chrome cap needs to come off to see releases or possibly to just pull the cylinder out. Perhaps that could also be the situation with yours.

There is another type release someone else posted that may also be applicable. I do not remember where I found the article to give him credit or if it was for another brand.
