The original era would likely have been made by See-Rite...I cant quickly find any original clamp-on or repros (White Glove) but if you will be at the National meet in Wisconsin next month, you will likely find them at the swap meet (and you can meet "BigKev" and others, myself included).

Here is a link to a 37 coupe owner and it talks through several approaches (not all are standard, so I caution you this is for learning purposes):

https://forums.aaca.org/topic/295195-outside-rear-view-mirrors-37-packard-120-conv-coupe/

Also, some similar items:

CAUTION: These are just generic clamp-ons that were early 40's through 50's but there are several on Ebay just so you can get a feel for what that type looks like and how they attach...I recommend a more diligent search for some See-Rites with a clamp-on:

I am just not happy with the carpet that I received from Stock Interiors and it is way too late to return or complain about it.

It fits poorly, is missing that narrow centerpiece and is just cheap carpeting.

I need another source.
Who have you had luck with?

A good friend just bought a 31 convertible which came from New York. Theft proof number 140140, Motor number 299840 and ID plate 469 47. I hope Owen-Dyneto can use the info and provide any info he might have. Thanks Dell

A poster has added a Napa belt for the 115C and 120 in the parts x-ref. You might check it out and see if the number is good or if still available.

Got everything working except headlights…could be because they are 12 volt but more likely something mixed on jumction block or poor ground…any ideas where I can get 6 volt headlight seamed for this car?

For headlights, I use these in both my 6v and 12v cars and are polarity independent. They are LED so put very little load on the switch and wiring, I have several pair that I bought recently but unfortunately I see that they are currently on back order.

Re: Dashboard removal

I completely removed my dash from the car to install a factory A/C set up. Howard is spot on, use the A/C installation instructions to remove the dash. There are about 9 screws along the windshield and one bolt each at the kick panels. I removed the top screws first, then loosened the 2 bolts at the kick panels and rotated the dash down pivoting on the bolts at the kick panels. You will have to remove the steering wheel and drop the column. I have a '56 so dropping the column was easy due to the addition of a "coupling" just forward of the fire wall. The '55s will require you to unbolt the steering box from the frame to lower it. Hope this helps.
