It's not the engine side. Opposite side.
I would post a photo but I'm not there. It doesn't look like the fuel pump in the reply photo.

FUEL PUMP....It seems to be missing a plug from the side because gas spirts out when accelerating. I can feel a hole in the side where a plug MUST have been at some point. Any thoughts?

Glad to hear this about the non detergent oil. I had Valvoline change my oil to 10 w 30. Within less than 300 miles the oil is black black black. It looked really clean when I changed it. Would you all suggest taking 10w30 out and replacing it with 15w40? It had been sitting for 7 years, maybe all the gunk settled during that time.

Hello, I just (2/9/18) saw this article on the 1953. I have a 53 Clipper Deluxe. Would it be possible to forward this article to me for my scrapbook? I would be ever so grateful. Thank you in advance, Brenda from Long Beach, CA

Mine leaks when the car is running and if I break it when I remove it I need to have another one immediately. Kanter doesn't have one

None of you mentioned polarizing the generator. Do you think that's necessary?
