Well the carpets are now in and the new recovered door cards fitted and also the new headlining. Its also got to the point of fitting the front bench seat, I know there is a spring for the lever on the driver side of the seat, should there be another heavy spring some where else on the seat. Thanks Howard. Heres a couple of pics so far.

On the rear seat of the 42 packard Clipper there is a long type rope handle and it treads through a chrome eye. One of the eyes is damaged does any body have one or know where i can get one from. pics attached.

Well I have had a real good day today, I have fitted all the new runners and draft seals and fitted all the new glass in the quarter lites and the main windows. I just have the drivers door to do. but i need a new latch for the quarter lite. Does any body have a latch or complete quaterlite frame with the latch. Many Thanks Howard.

Hello thanks for that. I think i am going to have to pull them apart and clean all the contacts and go from there. On a different subject, i collected all of the new glass. I managed to fit the glass into the windscreen rubbers and got the front screen fitted. It fitted in very well.

A little bit more of an update and a question. Well all the new cut glass has turned up. I managed to fit the new windscreen glass yesterday with the help of my son and a friend holding the glass in place while i pulled the cord to fit the rubber. The screen went in very well. I am still waiting on the upholstery man to com and fit the headling once installed i can fit the trims around the rear window and front screen. I have tried to get the horns working but not having alot of luck. Any suggestions. Thanks Howard

I have been looking at the air breather, and I just wonder should it have a support going to it, there is a captive nut on the breather, does any body have a pic.

Thanks

Howard

Well I have had the car running and it sounds real nice, I am still not sure on the spring for the clutch arm. I have looked at where a bracket should go and I did make one but either the spring i have is wrong or this modelcar has some thing different, Does any one have any good pics of that area. How many springs are used in the clutch pedal linkage areas. Many Thanks Howard
