Couple of new Facebook Marketplace postings:
1948 LWB sedan. Not sure of the model, but it does not appear to be too bad for the asking price of only $3,999. At least the interior is not totally trashed like on a lot of these cars. New Jersey: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/412291991302252/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A9c6ddbb8-6c51-4d12-9376-d08b22df4d70 23rd Series Sedan parts car. Again, not sure of the model. Looks like an abandoned resto project. Sheet metal does look pretty good and what more could you want for the asking price of only $500. Michigan: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2980224462120133/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A9c6ddbb8-6c51-4d12-9376-d08b22df4d70 1947 Clipper LWB sedan. Ad states the proverbial "ran when parked", so I guess that it is no longer running. Tires are flat. Car was originally owned by a funeral home. Relatively solid looking, with some visible rust in the front fenders over the side grilles, which is typical of early Clippers. In one of the photos, I am seeing what appears to be a 1936 Henney hearse on a trailer, so I'm not sure what's up with that car. Asking $5K. Ohio: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/680207827520842/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Adad8e29c-07e4-469e-b4b3-079ffb6f199f 1956 Executive Sedan. Very decent looking original car. Some wear visible on driver's seat, but original interior looks clean otherwise. Believe color scheme is Scheme H (Adriatic Blue Metallic). Odometer shows 58K and car looks it. Asking $15K. Tennessee: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1056246049001789/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Adad8e29c-07e4-469e-b4b3-079ffb6f199f 1941 110 Coupe. Partially disassembled for restoration. Looks decent, but obviously needs quite a bit of work. Driver's side front fenders look rough. Rest of body not bad: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/415638530923666/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A1d7b017e-41f5-4c88-8a91-a1272dd5005f

PackardDon and I were discussing Henney professional cars after a recent post I made in the Packard vehicles for sale forum, and I recalled having this photo of a 22nd Series Henney flower car. It was taken at the PAC National meet in Pittsburgh, PA in 1986. Thought I would share with everyone. Very interesting vehicle as it is a combination hearse/flower car with a compartment underneath for a casket.

PackardDon. Can certainly understand how you feel when you see a car you once owned being ruined by a subsequent owner. I certainly learned something new today from you as I had never heard of Henney built service cars. I took another look at the ad photos and saw that the side windows on that Henney were blocked out, so it looked like a panel delivery. Never knew that Henney produced something like this. Funeral homes do need a vehicle to transport remains back to the parlor for embalming and preparation and you would not want the public to be able to see in, hence the blocked out side panels. A traditional hearse has side windows because you do want to be able to see the casket along with all of the funeral wreaths on the way to the cemetery. I once had a friend who was a funeral director, so I am somewhat familiar with the process. The service cars must be rare as I do not recall ever seeing one. I have seen Henney flower cars from this era and have photos of one in my collection from years ago.

This one just came up today on FB Marketplace and thought I would share.
1956 Caribbean Convertible. Unfortunately, it is probably the worst one I have ever seen. Probably beyond restoration at this point and useful only for parts. The seller has a large yard filled with other vintage cars including some other Packards. I can see what looks like a 1956 Clipper, a 1956 400 and a 22nd Series Henney Hearse in the background, but there may be others. All cars in the yard are for sale. Ottsville, PA. Ottsville is in Southeastern PA near the NJ State line: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2183906365133204/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Ad1bd4cc5-7ac5-41ce-b437-f1cc2907cd9a Couple more: 1948 Henney Ambulance. Rough unrestored but looks complete. Rear quarter glass shows original Ambulance etching. Probably way overpriced at the asking price of $15K. Texas: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/667093385637132/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Ad1d31601-4c86-45fc-8836-d231bdb4e84 1951 250 Convertible. Restored car, looks very attractive in Packard Ivory with red interior. Asking $38K. Louisiana. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/388204367096911/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Ad1d31601-4c86-45fc-8836-d231bdb4e84c

Link for the 1940 110 Coupe wasn't working. I tried to find the ad to replace the link, but it looks like the ad has been taken down. Here is another one I just found:
1947 Custom Super Clipper Club Sedan. Body No. 2125. We all know how rare these top line Clipper Club sedans are. I don't think that I have ever actually seen one in person. This car appears to be very solid and complete but would require a full cosmetic restoration. Would love to see this one restored. Unfortunately, I think the seller might be much too high on the price ($30K). What do you think? Car is located in California: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2067825076919483/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Afb30a4f3-72df-4703-b7bc-812ded75020a
