Ok Thank you

I'm going into town tomorrow for plugs and wires, so I'll take that reading soon after that trip.

Fingers crossed on the pertronix, a buck n half out the window would really not feel good!

I had also bought their Flame Thrower coil.
If the solid state is a no go I should still be able to use the coil, I don't see any reason not too..

Ok Thank you,
I just made new 1/0 cables, I did crank her with no problems thus far!

Is there a proper way to test that logic for the supplied volts..

Thank you OD on the plugs.

Ok Thank you all.

I finally had the chance to pick back up on 54' after about a year.

I did install the pertronix solid state and flame thrower coil for the 6v Positive ground.

I had a new set of wires and plugs but I can not find them so I'll start with another fresh set.

I do remember pertronix told me do not use the solid copper wires but I figured I'd ask on here for opinions.

Two of the parts stores have the Champion RJ12CY plugs in stock which I ran before.

My new missing plugs were the Autolite. 308 and I was told I could use them even though I have the Delco system is this true?

Eventually I will get the cloth solid core wires but for now I will go with surrpression wires.

Any thoughts or options on a non-resistance plug?

I will keep the points on hand just in case...

So in the end result having the pertronix ignition, it calls for to use the resistor plugs and no solid copper core plug wires?

I found the temperature sender TS-6464 at car quest in town in stock $15 and some change.

I had went to go flush out the under seat heater core and it leaked inside the car lucky it was only vinegar and distilled water so I ended up by passing it and going from the top heater box to the pump for now so I'm hoping within the week I'll have her started.

Thanks again for the advise.

Thank you Gents.

Post #5 it will be, but I'll make sure to check on that thermostatic flapper.

Any leads on a temp sensor, mine joined a disappearing club.

Maybe out of an auto parts store?
I didn't see any on the X-Ref charts.

And really thank you so much!
