very nice looking car, body looks nice and straight, my advice would be ,always make sure the E brake works well, old cars doesn't have the dual brake system, looks like someone spend alot of money on the car over the years, enjoy it ,keep us informed, Regards, Joe

i agree with Owen ,re arch them, maybe add a ply or replace a few , if the spring shop thinks its needed

as far as the SUV,s there just short, very short station wagons ,most the quarter panels isnt 2 ft long, i tell alot there driving a sawed off station wagon, and it upsets a few, if u look close at one ,u are not getting much for the money,

if u was closer, i would give u a floor pan and wheel well, i have 2 55 400s and 1 55 clipper, parts cars

Tim Cole, u cant turn off the AC ,u want someone lose weight, AC cars,AC house,AC restaurants ,i would be more concerned about the exhaust that falls to the ground from those big jet airplanes ,thats just a high grade diesel fuel,and if anyone thinks the fed gov. or state gov.is going give up there gasoline tax, for EV,s
there dreaming ,there going get the money somehow

if that was my 37 coupe conv, if it doesnt bring good money, i would pull it from the auction or bid it up myself, there is one on ebay now at 70k or obo , u just cant give it away, common sense ,very nice car ,even a rumble seat

sounds like u have no proof of ownership if u had a registration card showing u had lisc plates on the car, that would show ownership, and Ne.would have to title it,being from a non title state
That is what that auction in N.Y. called transferable paper work , very few cars there had titles or transferable paper work, i bought a packard in Connecticut
a non title state, but i had a old registration card no problem, as far as a new vin plate, has nothing do with it,doesnt show ownership i put new vin tags on all my cars , they look good,u put on the vin plate whats on the title

i felt the auction went well, for the seller and the buyers, 10 15 years ago im sure they would of all brought more, but the times change,those 4 door cars isnt worth anything but for parts cars , no resale value,cars that were worth some money brought money,i thout the Cadillacs
did well and that 55 olds conv its worth more than 55 Caribbean restored, i recently bought a restored 41 sedan 120 and i used it for a parts car for a 41,120 conv. restoration costs and parts are expensive today, times change and nothing u can do about it

one thing about this auction, its once in a life time opportunity ,little money and little ambition ,u can make few nice cars out of a few ,when u can get in to view the cars then the bidding will start,
i wont bid till i get to look at them, as far as getting them out, u just cant drag them ,no way guide them and u would tear up the wood floor they are on
