Re: America's Packard Museum

Speaking for myself the Packard dealership was like stepping back in time.No not the best museum but worth spending two or three hours.(I myself have done so on two occasions.)but If you like Aircraft the airforce museum is the jewel. You will need more than a day I feel.Of course I had only 2 or 3 hours. I never did see the modern stuff. BHW

Then mores the reason the list will be there!Don't ya think! She will find it! Just tell her to "save it." for you.You wont even have to go in there till needed!( If ever.)Even then she will do it.As for the Tech. That would be a no.There is a limit on the technology i will allow to encroach upon on my life.Cell phones is one.Not now,not ever BHW

This may sound silly, But no one mentioned carrying a list of what was in the car.I am also assuming that these items stay in the car?Seems to me that list should be in the glove box or tool box.I for one would most likely in the stress of the moment of break down forget what I have.As always great food for thought all! Well everyone it sure pays to be prepared!Egads!I am sure however that you guys are right.I have been told that it is a good idea to carry an axle and bearing(greased)as well as the seal for my car.Not to mention the required tools(ie:wheel puller.) as well.I guess if you are going a long way as they say, Cant hurt!
