Kamstilla ,I am not sure about your problem, But I feel If your wires are bad enough to tape all the way back that they are most likely unsafe anyway.I think everybody will agree that they should be replaced. Brian

Carl, My rear differential also leaks. Not as bad as yours however.Thanks for bringing it up.It will not need service yet.(I hope.)The rear seal on my Ultramatic leaks more.Still not bad.My guess is I will try to tackle both when the time comes. Brian

Craig, Mike is not familiar with anything prior to 1954.And Yeah, I knew not to go to the "big" suppliers first.The part on the end of the drag link gives a disturbing "clunk" If you hit a bump. it is actually hitting the inner control rod.Its got to go. Brian
