Eaton Detroit made rear springs and bushings for my ‘40 160. Pix here.
packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/newbb ... ic_id=5878&order=ASC&status=&mode=0 Eatondetroitspring.com They don’t list Packard, but they have the specs to make them. I think they were $400 a side. Which included bushings. eatondetroitspring.com/1mm On the invoice, it looks like there are 12 bushings at $5= $60 plus ship from Detroit

Inspiring project, Kev. When you have down to the last screw, hold it up, take a picture, and say, “This is my ‘37.”

Probably 10-15k would be reasonable. There’s a ‘37 Super 8 fully restored for $52k asking on ClassicCars.com . To get there, one might have 8-10 in paint, 8-10 in upholstery, 8-10 in chrome, 8-10 in engine and running gear, plus hours and hours of joy disassembling and cleaning , fixing parts like gauges, pumps, brakes, etc. So if you subtract all that from $52k you’ll be down to an asking price that would attract a buyer. Plus wood work. It would be a beauty when done.
