Rebuilding front suspension on my 120 any advice?

So the new project is the front end rebuild of my 120, she's a bit sloppy when driving which is to be expected with her age. Is a kit made with everything I need or do I need to purchase a bushing kit separate from idler arm etc... Please advice me on any additional part you might recommend while I'm doing this rebuild. Is their any special tools I needed?

Frustrated with whom ever is making knob kits for Kanter...

I'm just a bit frustrated with whom ever is making the dash knob kit and trim around the radio for Kanter, I ordered these parts 2 months ago checked in several times and all I get from Packard parts is we will try to get a hold of them. I'm sorry but if it's been over a month and they don't call you back I have a big problem with doing business with whom ever is making these parts. I spent 900.00 and some change, at the least they can call Kanter back and let them know whats the hold up. This is unacceptable....

The linings cracked from the brake shoes, Both driverside and passenger front had cracks in the linings, they look very old. My car has drums all the way around, to be honest whom ever owned my car before did things half effort so I'm having to go back over so much, but it will get there....

Warm Regards

Thanks for all the replies guys brakes are done as of this morning, had the rotors turned to ensure smooth braking... Stops on a dime now... On a different note I had 3 brake pads cracked, is that due to age?

Thanks again..

So I bought new brake shoes and went to pull off the drums...grrr not coming off. I soaked them with WD-40 several times rotating the drum while tapping it with a hammer for the last hour aside from beating the crap out of them with a hammer is an easier way known or do I just need to let them soak a bit more. Thanks guys

Well I ordered a bunch of rubber seals for my 41 from Kanter and they came in today front quarter seals... rear quarter seals... door seals . I'm going to start work on the front quarter glass rubber and my question is how does the front quarter glass pop out of the door? Thank you...

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has made inside door panels themselves, if so what did you use for building material? Someone has put very thin panels in mine and they're starting to have waves in them over the year. I'm a bit of a do it yourself kind of guy and this looks like something I could handle. Thank you for replies...
