Thank you for the link, i will have a look at least if all fails then i know where to buy one, lets see if Mal has any luck with a photo. There is a print shop nearby and they do very good reprints of plates they just need a very good copy. thanx again for the information, Bill.

Hi Mal,
And to all, hope you had a wonderful day today - and enjoy your run to Bankstown Airport! Mal, i see Peter is holding a Radiator thermostat,for the front grill would you know where he got it from? as i would like to buy one for the 120, Thank you for all your input, And the rest of packard info, I really would'nt know what to do if it was'nt for all you guys out there!! Mal,
My 120 is a right hand drive vehicle, may be thats why the filler cap is on my right plus it came like this?. Mal, on your packard there is a plate with details of the vehicle, would it be possible for you to take a photo of it so that i can have one made for my car, then i could fill in my details. As my plate never came with the car. I would need a nice clear picture so that you can read all what packard wrote on the plate. (just a thought)Bill.

Packard 38 Coupe,
that wire-spring? top of gearchange comes out! it is just a pushed fit some penetrating oil may be needed.then you can clean the tube out once you remove the spring at the bottom of column. Bill.

what about disconecting the pitman arm from steering link might be easy to work on, take complete steering etc up into cab and out?,good-luck.

Fan - Shroud
HH56 / PackardV8 - have a look at a 1983-5 ?Range Rover Shroud, I fitted this on my 53 clipper with two small electric Fans. (it worked for me) it might help you out? Bill.

Just thought i would show you guys my Rebuilt Carburetor.
And a big thank you to all for, informing me of your own rebuilt CARBURETOR'S, it was nice that you all gave me the contact, although i had already had it rebuilt, by the time i had a reply, in the request for a rebuild kit. keep the help coming in as we need it. Any input is better than none! Thanx to ALL. Bill
