I'm in the process of restoring a 37 conv. coup and need to remove the doors. The lower screws seem to be solidly rusted and despite using all the tricks I know---no luck. Like wise on the hinge pin. It will not budge. The running board is off so I can give a good rap to it. Any sage hints??? thanks Bruce

Gentlemen: Thanks so much for the advise photos and knowledge. Unfortunately I have already damaged the bezel for I could see the slots and knew this had something to do with it all. I have a 1099 which was my in-laws honeymoon car and another 1099 with lot of rust damage beyond repair. Between the two I can make one, for the honeymoon car has tons of missing parts. No doubt you will hear a lot from me in the future. Thanks again---- Bruce

I have a 37, 120, 1099, conv Cpe2-4 with a good body, and chassis but missing a whole lot of the rest. I need a parts car and wonder about model and year compatibility. Any info would be a help. Thanks Bruce

I have a family 120 I'm starting to restore. It needs a lot under the hood: engine, clutch, steering wheel etc. the body is in good shape. I was told it was a '37 but I have recently found the Calif. pink slip and the info states the serial no is 1099-1097; engine no. 105430; and the model is listed as a 120 B. There is nothing on the car to help. Could it be a 37 purchased in 36? The date of sale is listed as 10/15/36. Thanks Bruce Sorry it is a convertible and listed as a Con. Cpe2-4
