I am trying to remove the shock links, but they seem to be "stuck" in the arm extension from the Shock Absorber. they do not look to be threaded, based on the new ones, but not sure if they are tapered? You can see from the picture the rod on the shock link is off, thus the need for the replacement. I don't want to force the removal and break something inadvertently. Any suggestion or advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, I am replacing the carpet in my 1937 120. I am replacing the stick shift, brake and clutch grommets. I noticed that there is a board in the upper part of the floor. It is deteriorating, almost like worn out particle board. Is this the standard? Or was this placed in there by someone who did not know any better. Looking to replace, but not sure what i should be looking for?

Hi all,
I just want to loop back on results. A tad bit of oil in shaft (with toothpick) and Lithium grease on the Speedo Cable did the trick. She is back to normal, no noise! Thanks too all for the input and guidance!

I am looking to replace my Firewall deadener/insulator on my 1937 120 4 door convertible. I assume I need to remove the heater but I am not sure how to go about it?

Has anybody replaced this and can advise on best approach?
