modern paint mix for old color needed
Home away from home

My Packard was painted in the 70s with Brunswick Blue from a 1961 vw convertible color. It needs some touch up and the paint supplier that i use says he cannot mix it.To a modern urethane or any other modern paint. I had my dad tried to take the gulf club door to him to take a picture with the paint mix camera and he say that will not work because its not flat enough. I work 6 and 7 days a week and cannot take the car to him do to work. The older guy who worked there could do just about anything i needed as far as color but he retired and there is a new person there. Any Ideas ?

Storage of car

Has anyone stored a car in a garage near the bay or ocean? I was wondering if there is a good way to do this so the car dose not rust. I thought maybe an omni Bag might work. This is a large plastic bag that you park the car in for storage. Or is it just a bad Idea?

I have a 8 cylinder block dated 4/21/28 and manifold .Would this be the 29 super 8 or the older 8 cylinder. The engine is longer than a 29 standard 8 . and the bore is bigger I cannot add a picture because its surrounded by other heavy stuff that I cant move by myself.

I think this is a 1934 Packard engine I was able to turn this back and forth fairly easy about a 1/2 inch I did not want to force it to go farther I am thinking the valves may be rusted fast.Does this sound correct?
