OK, my fuel gauge stopped working. it is one of those liquide filled in the dash models. it does not appear to be leaking it just doesn't work. is there anyone who knows how to properly repair these? i will be removing it from the car this weekend, i am going ti try and blow out the lines first. but i figure i would ask about repair incase i need the service. have any of you dealt with this problem before?

thanks, for the help.

OK, folks.
update.
it has a 140 inch wheel base.
and the numbers listed are correct.
the engine number matches the VIN.
and he stated the wheels are original chrome but were re-chromed in the 70's.

the owner has owned the car since 1974.
