Then you need to add local, state or provincial taxes when registering yor vehicle.

In Ontario that adds another 13% to the price.

In your shoes, I would have a respected period appraiser look at it, might be the best couple of hundred dollars you spend and not the worst thousands you would regret later.

If everything does work out, you have the car of your dreams at the price you want to pay.

Here it is it sold during the 'Salon Selection' segment on Saturday evening for $660,000 (includes 10% buyers premium)

I switched to the B-J Scottsdale auction on the Speed Channel (Canada) this evening, just as Kareem won a bid on a 48 Packard Super 8 convertible.

Welcome KAJ to the Packard family.

Mike,

I tend to side with O-D while not wishing to offend any of the Bi-colour owners out there this model looks best as a solid colour vehicle. It was marketed as the car for the average guy, the person who did not have the money for all the extras, but did want to show everyone on the block that he had a bit more money than they maybe thought he had.

It's a Packard, that says enough to turn heads, painting it like a circus wagon will turn heads, but IMO understated beauty is likely what you are looking for.

I'm, biased (see my avatar), but I would suggest Packard Maroon or Indian Maroon, both are such rich colours and will stand out from the many black and dark blue cars of all makes at any cruise night or show.

I also noticed the missing door trim around the top of the driver's door and back passenger side door.

My first turn-off was the running board, the rubber mat looks like an unmade bed.

Also, the wrong Goddess of Speed for a '37 Junior.

The insert on my Maroon 37 - 115C is black and is in wonderful shape.

RogerD,

Thanks for your post, I hope it was a typo and you meant 2013 PAC meet and not 2012, because my time machine is stuck in neutral and has not been able to shift forward or back for quite awhile, it certainly wasn't build by Packard.

All kidding aside what I was initially looking for was the dates of the meet. I tend to commit to other activities at least a year in advance, but I do have a couple of open weekends in June and would love to attend at least for part of the event.

BTW as a new PAC member in early December, I'm looking forward to receiving my first newsletter.

Where would I look to find information on the PAC National Meet, all I seem to find is June 2013 (no dates), Pontiac, MI but no location.

I'm new here and with PAC so I may not be looking in the right place. Since this is only a couple hour drive, it would be great to visit if it fits my schedule.
