Anyone see the 1940 Super 8 180 sedan for sale on the other site? Man, that looks like a nice one! I haven't seen one of those in person or for sale ever. I thought the price was kind of low for the condition it's described to be in. Someone is going to get a good one if it's what they say it is.

Like the car hate the color-those cars always look better in a dark hue (except for converts)

THe pic is the one I'm talking about--yes. I don't like the color that much either but it is supposed to be a correct color for that year I think--Miami sand. That pic isn't very good as it's in the bright sunshine and not very good light.

Do you guys think that asking price is in line? I mean, it's a sr. CCCA classic right? I was thinking more in the low $40s and the seller has it right at $35K.

It's priced at retail for its condition.

West,

Have you seen the car in person or know it's true condition? It always seems kind of hard to me to put a current market value on these types of pre-war Packards--some are easier than others. It does seem to a fairly rare pre-war Packard. I love the 356 engine of course. What would one these cars in a true #2 condition be valued in today's market?

I think the car is priced fairly rich.

Looks like it was painted with a roller.

And the running board is a mess.
