If it's the same as my 1953 Pat then you take the mounting bracket and cylinder out as one piece from inside the car. Pull down carpet by brake pedal and you will see screws the whole panel comes out. I put in a new type double master and new double booster with a remote fill bottle on fender.I posted pictures of mine also check out all talk about new type masters before you use the old treadle vac.

Window Dust Scraper Seal

I'm painting the inside window frames along with my dash on my 1953 Pat and the dust scraper seal is on with staples.I'm going to take off to paint Were is the best place to buy new ones and how do you put them on?

I don't know if the water will work I think the sender needs to be grounded to engine not sure, you might have to put wire from top of sender to block if it does't work without one

Before I would drill out the head I would bite the bullet and pay the $100.00 and buy it from Max Merritt. You can try some of the other places Packard Tucson,etc.

Tank sending unit arm was bent too far up. Used the Ford sending unit and had to bend arm down so that when I put it in the tank the arm would came up alittle just to get it in the tank. That make it work good. I took cover off the original sender and found out that the small spring type steel around back was broke.Does anyone know how to rebuild these.
