Just a little update,I finely got all the power window frames made and working, made new drip rails with moldings. Extended the lower part of the grille and finished the tail lamp bezels and licence pocket.

Hey Fish'n Jim
The front assy. is from www.helixsuspension.com they were the only ones we could find with a wide enough crossmember and track width. You've got some good ideas but when you say stroker your not talking chev are you? Say it isn't so.

Thank you Mark for your encouraging words. I have been restoring cars for more than thirty years but this is the first Packard. It has been an exciting challenge to create a unique car. Hopefully others will like the end result.

The engine is at the machine shop right now. When we get it back and detailed i'll post some pictures. Its not a Packard.

Wheels are 16" True Spoke with 60 straight spokes and Packard centre caps.

But the upside is we are hoping it might generate new interest in Packards with customizers. (For example, Mercs have nothing unique left to be done to them.) And although some people won't like what we're doing, this car in particular was really rough so it was an ideal candidate for my vision. Fortunately the owner trusts my judgement.

Thanks, I could not get the photo to load in the registry. Taking car today for some interior work.Its not really to that stage yet but have another car to restore and don't want the Packard sitting idle. Needs to be finished for late summer.
