The Packard lug wrench has the proper hex to take off the cover.

Daytona only does carbs back to 1932. The Carburetor Shop seems to be out of business. Their phone is disconnected.

Does anyone know if The Carburetor Shop in Eldon Missouri is still in business? I have called the phone number on their website, but it is no longer in service

I am familiar with the air pump that was attached to the transmission. It came with an air hose and chuck. The fitting in question has an air chuck fitting on the top side, which leads one to believe that the air was filled from inside the car and then went to something under the floorboard.

I had the 4 shocks for my 640 rebuilt by Apple. They seemed to do a good job overall, but I found that the reservoirs had a lot of grunge still in them when I got them back.

Can anyone identify the floor board fitting pictured here? One side has an angled flare fitting and the other side had a fitting for an air chuck. What model/series car?

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a 6V battery I have been using to troubleshoot the electrical system(new restoration) and can't get the starter to turn over. I have had it checked out and have been told it is good. I seems that it should be pretty simple as it is a straight shot from the battery to the starter switch and then the starter. Took the switch apart and cleaned it (again), so that is not the problem.

Anyone have a recommendation for a battery for a 640 Packard?

Are you after the socket or the plug (the plug being the plastic part that the wires fasten to)

If they don't work, I have some of the connectors if they are the same size as used on 1929 taillights.
