Good to know. I was just going to send mine off as a core, it is quite rough.., I've come close to using Daytona for my 526, just didn't pull the trigger before I left. I have heard good things.

My carb is a mere shell of its former self. I am deployed, so can't actually look at what is in my car. From the parts manual on this site, it looks incompatible. Is it??

mine is a 5567 - Constellation with the original 352

I was givin one...., then recently a second. Truth be told, three years ago, I didn't know what a Packard was. There was just an ancient car in my uncle/Grandfather's garage. Now it is a basket case in mine......, but it is progressing!

I am 40, my son 12. My plan is to have him take his drivers test in a his great-grandfather's 88 year old (by then) car!

beautiful! I wish that I was that far along. I am back overseas, and my wife is much more interested in the '55 Clipper that I just got, so my '28 may take a back seat, for now. Of course, the idea is that once I get the '55 driving it will motivate her to release the purse strings. Again, I am jealous of your progress, good work.

and that car....where in the HECK will you ever find that Packard in that shape for that price they paid during the auction! i haven't seen one...not on Ebay...not on Craigslist.

Mine maybe rougher, but I got it FREEEE from a member on this forum!! - Sorry, I have to keep pointing that out.
