A great day to play with a Packard

Good day to you Mal...It's a great day here in the desert, close to 80f and 'Miss Prudence' is just back from the hardware store. What's happening down under?

Amen, just drive her where she tells you she wants to be, Mel, the old machines know best and all we have to do is to listen carefully to them. Our 23rd series wants to be in overdrive at anything over 50 as well. If I forget to let her go into overdrive, she lets me know. Beautiful day in Arizona. Ernie

Good Day Mal...Our 'Miss Prudence' also has our grand daughters in the back seat on a regular basis. I also noticed the same shifting when we first began to drive 'Miss Prudence'.
We drained the transmission and filled it with 140 weight rather than the lighter oil that was in it. The old girl has shifted just fine since that time. Ernie

Good Evening Mal...Here is hoping that you really enjoy your 23rd series Packard. We certainly enjoy ours. She goes to the hardware store, the barber, the grocery store, out to breakfast and all sorts of places around our home in Scottsdale, Arizona. She receives all sorts of positive thumbs up signals and an occasional 'What the hell is that?' Oh well! Ernie

Wow...I wonder what roads were long enough and good enough for such speed. I also wonder if the 1932 Packard could go that fast? If this fellow is telling the truth, then the power and the ride are most impressive! Ernie

Good afternoon all...Brassworks are good people. I live in the Phoenix, Arizona area and have run one of their Radiators in my 1931 Model A for 12 years. The car runs cool and no trouble with the radiator. They seem to specialize in Model A and T Fords due to the volume of cars still on the road and build radiators for many other cars as well. Ernie
